चित्रकूट में भगवान राम के अवतरण दिवस को नगर गौरव दिवस के रूप में मनाया गया। गत वर्ष आरंभ हुई परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाते हुए इस बार 11 लाख दीपक जलाए गए। चित्रकूट प्रदेश का ऐसा पहला नगर है, जिसका गौरव दिवस कैलेंडर की तारीख नहीं बल्कि पंचांग की तिथि के अनुसार मनाया जाता है।

It was shut down for 16 days for scheduled annual maintenance from the 25th of November to the 15th of December, 2022, with a few trial runs.
