दामोदर रोपवे के सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने सीखा अग्निशमन का गुर मैहरः आग की किसी भी अवांछित स्थिति से निपटने के लिए दामोदर रोपवे ने मैहर में तैनात सुरक्षाकर्मियों के लिए अग्नि सुरक्षा सत्र का आयोजन किया। इस सत्र में मैहर साइट पर कार्यरत सभी सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने हिस्सा लिया और आग बुझाने का अभ्यास किया। आग लगने की स्थिति में आपसी संवाद और त्वरित कार्यवाही बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होती है। इस मॉक ड्रिल में स्थानीय अग्निशमन टीम द्वारा चरणबद्ध तरीके से हर उपकरण को चलाने और संचार स्थापित करने का अभ्यास दिया गया। इस वार्षिक मॉक ड्रिल का उद्देश्य था कि मैहर आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को आग से होने वाली दुर्घटना से बचाया जा सके और पर्याप्त सुरक्षा उपलब्ध कराई जा सके। अग्नि सुरक्षा सत्र के आयोजन पर दामोदर रोपवे के सीनियर जीएम एवम् टेक्निकल हेड सांतनु गुप्ता ने कहा, “हम सुरक्षा को सबसे ज्यादा प्राथमिकता देते हैं और सभी की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए हम सभी मानकों पालन करते हैं। अभी पारा अपने चरम पर है और ऐसी स्थिति में आग लगने की घटनाएं ज्यादा होती है इसलिए हमने इस मॉक ड्रिल को किया ताकि मैहर में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को आग की किसी भी अवाछिंत स्थिति से बचाया जा सके। यहां सुरक्षा कर्मियों ने जिस उत्साह के साथ इस मॉक ड्रिल में हिस्सा लिया उसके लिए मैं उनको धन्यवाद देता हूँ और सुरक्षा के लिए हमेशा तत्पर रहने के लिए उनकी सराहना करता हूँ। इसके साथ ही हम भविष्य की अपनी गतिविधिओं में प्राथमिक उपचार और सीपीआर ट्रेनिंग को शामिल करेंगे।”
